The Band.
Formed in 2016 we have been playing, writing, teaching and performing Scottish Music
at festivals, weddings, concerts and events all across Scotland, the UK and Europe.

Our highlights are - playing at the festival 'Mestralia' in Catalonia twice, playing a festival tour of North East France including Paris, composing and performing a WW1 remembrance tune for HRH Princess Anne. Playing at the BBC Hogmanay Live with Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain and Featuring on the BBC's 'Bargain Hunt'.

We're passionate about Scottish music -
We've played at hundreds of venues across Europe from grand concert halls to small town halls.
And from founding The Edinburgh Street Ceilidh to winning national traditional music competitions.
From playing with the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra to teaching and inspiring the next generation of Scottish musicians.
From playing the critically acclaimed Wilfred Owen violin to leading local traditional music sessions.
From writing our own sets of music to playing concerts in aid of and in recognition of humanitarian causes.
We take that tradition and with our own unique style and sets bring it in to the present day.

The Jacobites lineup is usually Thoren, Ciaran and Stuart. However, there are occasions when one or more of us may not be available. When this happens we're lucky as we have a fantastic network of musicians who are ready to step in and cover for us, with no compromise on quality or the experience we bring.
